Cinematic Gym LUT Collection

This collection includes the 4 primary LUTs I use in all my videos, helping me achieve a cinematic, consistent look across content.

My Process

1. I typically apply a conversion LUT first, bringing my footage from SLOG3 to Rec. 709 Colour Profile,
2. Next, I apply one of my 4 Cinematic Gym LUTs to my footage, set to 100% intensity.
3. Finally, I make minor adjustments to the overall colour, exposure and contrast of the image to achieve the desired result.

Technical Info

To achieve the best results, pair this LUT with your manufacturer's Rec709 conversion LUT, which you can find for free on their site. I've included the conversion LUT I use (SLOG3 to Rec709) for you as well.

If you're not filming in a LOG picture profile, you don't need to apply the conversion LUT and should set the intensity of the Cinematic Gym LUTs to <100 (around 50-60% intensity).

*These LUTs are compatible across all major software, including Premiere Pro, DaVinci and Final Cut Pro.
